Beacons builds a short, mobile-shaped site that sells. Products, appointments and links all live on the same page, setup takes minutes, and the result is aimed at someone whose audience arrives from social media rather than from search. For a creator who needs to be transacting this week, very little else here is faster.

A custom domain is available from the first paid tier, and removing the vendor mark from the page comes one tier above that.

The catch is two things that need reading carefully. The homepage's offer of a free custom domain is not what it appears: domains start on a paid plan, and branding removal starts higher still, so the plan that publishes an unbranded site on your own address costs considerably more than the entry figure. And a domain bought through the vendor is documented as remaining the vendor's property, with no access to its records and no route to move it elsewhere. A domain bought independently and pointed at the site stays the seller's own.
