About Readymag
Readymag is a design tool that happens to publish websites. There is no theme, no section library and no content system: every element sits exactly where you put it, and switching to the tablet or phone layout recreates your positions rather than reflowing them into somebody else's grid. That is why design scores 4.
The pricing is friendlier than the tool's reputation suggests. The entry paid plan is $14 a month billed yearly, and it is the first tier that both connects a domain you own and drops the vendor's mark, so the number and the qualifying plan are the same thing. The free plan publishes one site of up to ten pages at a Readymag address with every element type available, which is a real evaluation rather than a countdown.
The tradeoff is that this is a canvas and nothing else. There is no store, no blog and no content model of any kind, so a site grows by drawing every page by hand, which holds growth at 2. Two things that usually mark a tool of this class are missing by design: breakpoints are three fixed viewports rather than yours, and presets are explicitly not components. The monthly view allowance is labelled as views without branding, which suggests the mark returns above the cap.
