IONOS sells hosting, and the builder comes with the things a hosting company already has: a domain, the certificate, and a support operation. That last part is the reason to look at it. Phone, chat and email are all staffed around the clock on every plan, and a named personal consultant is offered alongside, which is a more complete arrangement than an entry plan usually carries.

For a reader who has nobody to ask when something breaks, that matters more than most feature comparisons.

The cost is where care is needed, and to the company's credit it publishes both halves. The entry plan advertises six dollars a month and states that it then becomes fourteen; the tier above advertises one dollar and becomes twenty. Those are large multiples, and a reader budgeting from the advertised figure will be wrong from the second term onward. One secondary source disagrees with the vendor's own renewal figures, and neither number has been reconciled with the other.
