About Noloco

Noloco is built for the case where the data already exists and the problem is letting the right people touch the right parts of it. Permissions run at table, page, record and field level, two-factor authentication and single sign-on are both available, and views are configured rather than drawn — six display layouts, containers for grouping and visibility, tabs and a sidebar.

Getting started has four documented routes, including a conversation that scaffolds tables, relationships, layouts and views from a description and then edits the app in place. The plan that costs nothing is unusually generous for this category: unlimited apps and unlimited internal seats, with real allowances rather than a countdown, and it is separate from the trial the vendor offers on every tier.

The cost is what happens at the boundary. Signing up refuses consumer email addresses, and the reader has to understand data sources, syncing, roles and record permissions before an app is useful — which puts ease at 2, alongside the hardest tools in this directory. The step from the free plan to the only self-serve paid tier is a single one to $79 a month, with three meters running above that and credit packs priced steeply. No search-engine control surface and no translation capability appear anywhere in the documentation.
