Comparison

Linktree vs Stan Store

A link page that sells a little against a storefront that happens to hold links. Neither will publish on an address you own.

These two look like the same product and are aimed at opposite ends of one decision: whether the page exists to point somewhere else, or to be the place the transaction happens.

What the page is for

Linktree is a list. The vendor describes it throughout as a link in bio, organised around links on one page, with a closed set of design elements rather than a page editor. Selling is possible and secondary.

Stan Store sets itself explicitly against that category. The things it is built to hold are things that are bought — digital products, coaching bookings, courses and memberships are all first-class product types on its cheapest plan rather than capabilities the tool can be forced into. It is a shop with a link list attached, not the reverse.

What each costs to find out

Linktree has a permanent plan costing nothing that carries unlimited basic links, so the page can exist before any decision is made.

Stan Store has no unpaid plan at all. Its own help centre asks whether one exists and answers that it does not, offering a fortnight's trial instead. Everything above that is a monthly commitment, and the marketing half of the product — email, discount codes, upsells, affiliate tools — sits on the dearer of its two plans.

Neither will publish on a domain you own. Linktree offers a redirect; Stan Store lists connecting a domain among the things it does not have yet and offers a forwarding rule. If the address matters, both are the wrong answer.

Which should you choose?

Choose Linktree if the page is a directory of places you already are, and you want it to cost nothing.

Pick Stan Store if the page is where money changes hands and you would otherwise be paying for a storefront separately — accepting a monthly floor before the first sale, and an address that stays the vendor's.
