About Unbounce
Unbounce gives a marketer the controls a designer would expect. The editor is a free canvas with per-element typography and colour rather than a stack of sections, and an independent review describes it as giving full control over every element's position and styling. Page redirects are on every plan including the cheapest, alongside title, description and the rest of the metadata, which is not usual at this price.
That control has a price in learning. The same review describes the editor as having a steeper curve than template-constrained builders, and you are expected to arrive with a domain and a record to edit rather than buying one inside the product. Unbounce scores 2 for how far a beginner gets alone, and 4 for design, for the same reason.
The catch is the shape of the entry plan. It is $22 a month and it carries five pages, one user, one root domain and a low monthly visitor allowance, with a one-off charge when the allowance is passed rather than throttling. The first plan without a page cap costs more than three times as much, so the published entry price understates what most campaigns will actually pay. Custom scripts and styling are also marked absent on the cheapest tier, so the escape hatch is not on the plan the price advertises.
