Tilda

Tilda builds pages as a sequence of designed blocks — its own documentation calls it a sequential arrangement — and the library those blocks come from is unusually well made. The result is a site that looks considered without a designer, which is not common at this price. For a section the library does not cover, a free-positioning canvas is available inside a single block, so an off-template idea does not mean abandoning the tool.

Content can be exported, which matters more than it sounds: it puts a documented way out into a category where most products have none.

The catch is in the billing, and it is worth knowing before signing up. Removing Tilda's branding is gated on annual billing rather than merely on the plan, so paying monthly on the entry plan does not qualify however long it is kept. The company contracts through an entity outside its country of origin, prices in dollars and takes card payments from customers in most countries, with a short excluded list.
